Discoverer Seven Seas

The Early Years

In 1976, The Offshore Company completed construction of a drillship that was the most sophisticated drilling vessel of the time.  The crew came from all over the world and through dedication and teamwork continuously set world depth drilling records . The ship is still working in India, 34 years after construction.

The pictures included on this webpage are from the personal archives of crewmembers from that time.
